This company (State Life Insurance Pakistan) has about 53 buildings around Pakistan and has assets and funds worth 120 Billion Rupees, (2 + Billion $$$). I read this in the Ad-Supplement in "DAWN" on Feb 12.

It's height is something like 22 Floors with 3 floors for Parking and 18 for corporate Offices. The 1 Ground floor would be given to companies who would want their showrooms to be in an ideal location or Banks or Financial Institutions etc.

I dont know how you came up with the idea that the tower cost $2bn.
hurtler
he meant that the if you convert that money, it would become american 2 billion$$$
Ameer
I think he meant they are worth $2 billion and that's all they could come up with... and yeah, it does look like a chootia designed it ! Well the important thing is that there is some devolpment for Isloo... this would be the first major change to it's small skyline in atleast 3-4 years...

And I've seen the site in progress... they did it really fast man! I was there a couple weeks ago and nothing was there.... they've already dug up the whole area now to make the 3 below-ground floors...

InshaAllah next time there will be a taller and better designed building...
