Full Version: Images Of The 2nd Statelife Tower
I'm not really impressed by the design or the height man... it's not tall nor is it a pretty building. It would have been alright if it was like 40 stories... but it's only 20 stories. 
Pathetic man... a country of 150 million + people and this is all we can come up with??? Our tallest building is like what? 30 stories?

Pakistan is hardly facing any land scarcity problems. Land is cheap and abundant there's absoloutely no need to waste resources in trying to go higher.

u know, the govt. should make a law for all the builders that it would only allow a building to be constructed if it increases the beauty of city's skyline view apart from other safety measures that needs to be included in the construction. no one should allowed to just construct a simple looking "dabba" style building.
i dont why people have this perception that high buildings are attributes of a wealthy state, maybe to an extentthey are.
But high rise buildings are purely based upon land costs. On generis terms every city has taller buildings as you near the city centre, The CBD is expensive to build on, that is why developers build high rise buildings.
So if land is cheap in Islamabad or wherever then let it be, you cant build a WTC look alike juz bcoz it looks good.

no offence ...but preeety ugly design it is...for a building .....be it Commercial or residential..............

I scanned "Statelife" and my brain spelt out "Sattelite" so ICBM (Inter Continental Ballestic Missile) made sence to me...lol
