Here are a few pics of the Jinnah House, Bombay

Pakistan wants the property for a consulate.

"the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, which acquired Jinnah House on February 4, the mansion will not be thrown open to the general public for fear of it becoming a monument for visiting Pakistanis, which, in turn, could lead to a political controversy."

Ok What I wana know is that how Nehru was goin to Gift this Property to Pakistan?

I mean was he Going to Deliver this Property to Pakistan unsure.gif If yes how?

beeps
By "handing over" the property, Nehru meant that it would be given to Pakistan to use as it's consulate in Mumbai. By international convention, the consulate of a country is actually the territory of the country. Eg. if Jinnah House was officially the Pakistani consulate in Mumbai, it would count as Pakistani territory.

Btw, I live pretty close to Jinnah House, it's a very nice place. We can see into the grounds from the high-rise I live in.

Dude, obviously they would hand it over as embassy or consulate. Most likely the latter.

As a consulate. By definition, the embassy is the consulate of a country in the capital city of another country. Therefore, Pakistan has an embassy in New Delhi only. But it's called the Pakistani High Commission, because the Commonwealth countries' embassies in each others' countries are called High Commissions.
Confused yet?
