You're a funny man B.E.F,
People from HK ain't arrogant at all. I don't even know who you are comparing it to. Perhaps you have had a bad experience before and the taste still lingers.
MMmmm.... maybe its just the people that I meet.
I'm an ABC (Aust. born Chinese), and my grandparents lives in HK who are in the higher middle income sector, and I can just feel my grandmother's arrogance, which I disgust. In addition, I always hear HK people call their comrades from China (i.e non HK or Macau people) "mainlanders" in a very discriminative way. So maybe its because of this, so I just generalised abit and have a feeling that all of them are the same.

Your avatar is not exactly clear so therefore i merely asked as it does resemble Tiffany......and CBC is short for canadian born chinese, u can have a ABC or a BBC or anything, since lots of Chinese people migrated from hk to either the states, aussie, uk etc....
Just make the short forms more understandable.

allow me to educate you furthermore, most models/singers/actresses or anyone in showbiz ends up doing nearly all of the above, so don't be suprised to see a singer acting or a model acting either. That's the far east for you.
LOL, trust me, I know that. Its ESPECIALLY the case for Hong Kong artists.
Many artists (i.e singers) worldwide tends to also become models for commercial, but there ain't much who also become actors/actress as often as in HK.
Also, in HK, many artists tends to have some sort of background with gangster's help.
(e.g Twins & Joey Young is help by the same gangster. Both are one of the lead most famous singers in HK)
So now, I don't really like Chinese music (because of HK's conditions), and when it comes to Taiwanese and mainland China's artists, I don't know mandarin, and I don't really like their style of music, and now, only BoA* is in my mind!
