i think you should get your figures straight too, include the casualties of all those suicide bombing which happened as a direct consequence of this govt. action. you would say that suicide bomber are to blame for this, but i think the govt. is also partly responsible...

The killing of LM leaders was absolutely justified. Since when do you start negotiating or making deals with a hostage taker? Next time someone robs a bank, politicians and everyone should go in the bank and start making deals with him and provide him safe passage. That should be done for all the crimes that are committed in Pakistan.

As for the classic argument, of why violence increased after LM operation. Because, there are alot of terrorist sympathizers in Pakistan. Just because we fear violence in future, does it mean we dont apprehend the wrong doers and provide them safe passage? Thats how terrorist/failed nations are and Pakistan is not.
