Umm...Iraq happens to be one of the most dangerous countries on this planet. They fled Iraq for their own personal safety but instead have gotten sucked into this mess. Plus just about every militant in Iraq will want to behead these women...
paki_ryder
not true.
much of shii controlled parts where mutah has become legal are fairly safe

Dude, the point I'm trying to make is that women in Iraq are being forced into this because of desperation and the fact that most Arab governments don't give a #### about Iraqi refugees. You're simply suggesting they should do it in their own country astaghfrullah, don't you have any shame in saying in that? How would you feel if it was your own sister (God hope not) that was doing this? Would you simply suggest to her that she move back to Iraq and do it there? I did not hear of this happening on such a mass scale during the Soviet-Afghan war when Afghani refugees were coming into Pakistan and Iran, yet this is happening in places like Syria and this is a shame.

Wrong is wrong, and a shame for us Muslims these situations occur!

Hz. Sumayya (May Allah Bless her soul), who was a prostitue, became Muslim because Islam does not allow women to be seen as possesions! She gave up her job and ended being the first Shaheed by not denying Prophet Muhammad (saw) as a prophet.

Doesn't justify it one bit. Arabs trake the ######, they cant take in refugees from neighbouring contries but they can moan to other countries to take refugees.

It's no wonder why Arabs, if not all the Muslims together, are weak, and despised. BECAUSE OF SH*IT like this! No wonder Muslims, particularly Arabs, become a "laughing" and a "mocking" stock for people in US who laugh and to be discriminated against....(MUSLIMS MAINLY as well). Syria had NO BEEF with Saddam, on the contrary were the best friends. Why do this to their civilians? Why not make them part of their manpower, by giving grants and loans for all these SKILLED, EDUCATED people that are forced to beg or prostitute, and thus further improve their own economy. These are the times, I wouldn't care twice if Israel bombs the daylights out of them. And that goes for ALL ARAB COUNTRIES who just sit and watch with all the money they have in the world. This included with the 200 lashes rewarded to the RAPE VICTIM in Saudi Arabia.

The ARABS in the Middle East HAVE GOT TO CHANGE...unless they want to become an "endangered" species from US and Israel. And on top of that, it is NO WONDER why so MANY MUSLIMS are trying to get to US, the VERY COUNTRY THAT is pounding their countries! Such an irony.....one must ponder WHY. If freedom is not given to individuals, THAT COUNTRY loses valuable man power. We, as Pakistanis (especially those who favour harsh "Taliban-style" laws, particularly against women keep this in perspective). As I mentioned, I'm not against a way of life of any individuals, or the way religion is practiced. But I am against ENFORCING RELIGION in state laws and thus become a Theocracy. You have to forgive me that I am going out of topic here, but this is a broad perspective what triggers immigration to these countries (which must be attempted to stop by creating better conditions and will to choose for both men and women. IT TAKES TWO TO MAKE THE HUMAN SPECIES WORK, or a race) and thus bringing economic progress to them.

Arabs, and most of Muslim countries had SO MANY CHANCES in the past to become a super power economic and millitary, but BLEW IT. Especially....Iran and Saudi Arabia (ok....maybe not Iran..but here in canada I have spoken with enough Iranian friends to see what is going on there. Why people are so desperate to get out of there and paying high prices to HUMAN TRAFFICKERS to get here; and thus lose talent and man power to the SOB's here). But it goes for all ME countries in the region (almost all...), and thus I am 80% sure they will face grevious consequences especially from US and Israel, and Britain, the real AXIS OF EVIL in my opinion.

Dude, Syria wasn't exactly best friends with Saddam. They even sent in troops during the '91 Desert Storm against him. Syria isn't completely to blame here. They've taken in the bulk of Iraqi refugees and they're angry that other Arab countries are not doing their share. Syria's economy has been weak to begin with, and with the influx of over a million refugees you can imagine how much little help the Syrian government can actually give. This is a big reason why the the Syrian government has started to cancel visas of Iraqis and send them back to Iraq (funny how the media has portrayed this as Iraqi refugees coming back willingly). The Syrians can't do it alone, and nobody is helping the Syrian government. Instead, as the video said, rich Gulf state Arabs simply come to take advantage of these women's sufferings, not help them.

Only issues people love to look at is whether or not the clothes a girl wears is haraam or not, whether so or so product is halal, etc. etc. while ignoring critical issues like these.
