These people have been bombarded with propaganda against Muslims all their lives. It is much better that this anger is vented during a ‘dialogue’ than on streets causing riots, work place causing discrimination, etc.
ancient aryans in india not only were beef and meat eaters, they also had elaborate horse sacrificing religious ritual on the banks of ganges. Horse sacrifice was also found in central asia, among ancient indo-european communities.

too bad this old man forgets to understand that Islam is to know GOD....the force...whatever is in here and the universe is connected as one. Religions do make sects and fights. PEOPLE make divisions and fights, which later become "in the name of religion". As far as "murdering" cows and other animals, it is only for FOOD. This guy fails to see that in history before the Persians (or the Mughals) conquered India, there were also divisions WITHIN the Hindu people itself! Now I've looked into the Hindu scriptures and "Brahman" (consience I believe) and even THOSE SCRIPTURES mention how things are INTERCONNECTED meaning everything leads to God itself which is all around everywhere...every cycle of nature..what man creates or destroys. There is some free will in man to see which path later on I believe his cycle or plan works around that.
I do believe in unity, but at the same, God also tells us to not lose guard against "evil" which is also a universal force.
And how can HE TALK ABOUT RELIGION AND DISUNITY when the OFFICIAL HINDU CULTURE is made of CHASTE SYSTEM that DIVIDES SOCIETY ITSELF! A lower caste is usually "the untouchables". I would any Hindu reading this tell me about this. I do not want to fight and turn it into "hindu bashing", but I would love to have your input. If this religion was the REAL EXAMPLE, mankind as we know it would be extinct, or an endangered species (which I guess it is already becoming one). And then seeing a "hindu" fundamentalist dominated regime as India, just look at their country right now. You still have 80% who live below poverty line. A lot of societies have the "chaste system". Then you have the "honour" killing to top that off. Soooo...omg...this is an example???? THIS????!!! I've seen MONKEYS AND APES set a better example (I guess they should stick to worshipping apes...as being even slightly above them would be an understatement) as a society. Which makes me wonder if Darwin's theory of evolution is true or not? I guess some races have "defects" in them?
Seeing this, people fail to realize that God, which I believe is a God everything, the God of hate, god of love, god of war, god of good, god of evil, god of mercy, and god of brutality, would always want us to choose a path that brings FREEDOM, LIBERTY, and justice, and strength. I guess this was what the forefathers of America put when it first became a REPUBLIC (not a Democracy) with a constitution.
But then again....EVEN IF HE IS REMOTELY RIGHT or ABSOLUTELY RIGHT....religion in government, which becomes a theocratic government, is not a functioning institution. Which is why I do not percieve India as a country with a functioning government, and thus A THREAT THAT SHOULD NEVER BE TAKEN LIGHTLY. Extremism of Hindus, Christians, Muslims, and Jews I think are the only ingredients we need to destroy the government, and at best the society. Other countries which I would like to add are United States (where Anglo-Judeo-Christian fundamentalism under the guise of "Democracy". Also slowly and quietly becoming a Communist or Fascist government), Israel (theocratic extremist "democratic" Jewish state), Saudi Arabia (90% theocracy), and Iran (90% theocracy).

Fantastic speech their by Dr Zakir Naik. I love his speeches they are very enlightening and mashallah his knowledge is terrific.
He handled that question with great focus and good temperament if only all muslims dealt with hindus and other non-muslims like this (as they used to) then many non-muslims would convert to Islam. Islams knowledge and tolerance has brought many people into Islam and made many more; more religious.
