Nothing new.
They are tools of 'democratic' (fasists, oppresive, neglevtive) governments in the West.
Did the first newssources come from India - due to the Nepalese treatments of the demonstrators might have caused some Indian journalists to 'overwrite' themselves to sell their stories to the global circus...? I will take my words back if I'm wrong.

The west is $hitting in their pants about China, because China is gobbling up all the resources to ramp up its economy. The Americans are wetting their daipers because there is not enough oil to go around now for them and which is why the price of oil has gone up to $100/barrel. Brits are now startin to feel the gut-wrenching economic fate, following the American recession reality. This is why they want to tarnish the image of China and make people think that its a cruel regime. When in reality, Pakistan has worked and been friends with China for decades and knows the values of the Chinese people, ethnicities, religions and etc, otherwise.
China needs to keep its head together, the yanks are feeling threatened by the rapid technological expansion of the Chinese military and economy. They will play out all their cards in a bid to stop the Chinese advances, using india as tool to slow China down.

Very true. Britain and America fear China's rise and will do any dirty trick to keep her down.

If you go around stirring up dissension the state has the authorisation to quell it and restore order. It's the same everywhere, whether Mexico, Ghana, China, India, Russia, USA, Britain, etc etc.

Chinese people won this round against western media. I was impressed by how China and Chinese people handled it, even on internet forums, they brought proofs, pictures and videos. I was appalled to see biased western coverage, headlines such as 'tibetens continue protests', when it was obvious it was riot, murder, burning, killing innocent people 'hindu' style. India too was against the militancy. Pakistan should take a lesson here, as India even though it supports tibetan cause, did not allow tibetan militants to run around being violent, dictating terms attacking its security as if they own the place, the way foreign militants are behaving in Pakistan.
